in the real world people are restricted to a strong regiment.
this psychiatric institute is their escapism, where they behave unhibited by rules and formalities.to other people their just "crazy" while to them their living their lives...
even if its all in their heads/ imaginary...
i read a book that says a child imagination and creativity is vast and unbouded.
but has he/she grows they become familiar with things, dont imagine the whys and ifs.
and succumb to a life of formalty.
i guess the people in the psychiatric institution is for them to find their imagination...
